Paradise Community isn't just a church; it's a family of genuine friends. Church should happen all 7 days of the week—think pool parties, game nights, and family dinners. It's not about packing a room but about creating a space where people are seen, heard, known, and loved.
We believe in the power of doing life together, making room for new friendships and deepening old ones. It's about being part of a community where you're valued for who you are and not just counted as a number. We strive to be a place where you can let your guard down and grow alongside friends.
We've seen how some people say they find more community in places like AA than in many church settings. We aim to change that, fostering a community that's about love, support, and humility—true to Galatians 6:1, where we gently help each other become all God designed us to be. We were made for more. REAL FRIENDS, HONEST FAITH
We believe that life is hard but Jesus is better. We don't try to hide our scars, our doubts, or our fears... we embrace them as part of what makes us human. So instead of "I need to pretend." we hope we can encourage "I want to belong."
So why Paradise? Because while we are a church community, we are very big on community. We've all dealt with sickness, death, sin, tough questions, and pain. We've also seen God do miracles in our lives and those around us through Jesus. Healing, hope, forgiveness and a future are all part of what happens when we step into that abundant life that Jesus promises in John 10:10.
LOVE: HERE AS IN HEAVEN
So why Paradise? Because Paradise is Heaven. Our name literally means "Heaven's Community". We sincerely want nothing more than to see what it could look like in a community if the people of Jesus lived and loved like Jesus. While we all love the Florida sunshine, we know it's most important to encourage people to investigate the real paradise, the Paradise of Heaven.
What if a church community really lived like we pray the Lord's Prayer: "Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." - Matthew 6:10
We believe "here" would look more like heaven. If God had his way in our marriages. If God had his way in our families, our neighborhoods, our schools, our businesses...what would it look like? Let's find out together.
